Portraits and figures

“The aim of Art is to present not the outward appearance of things, but their inner significance; for this, not the external manner and detail, constitutes true reality."

- Aristotele

Historically, portrait paintings have primarily memorialized the rich and powerful, over time, however, it became more common. Portraits are incredibly personal so it is my main focus - when creating portraits and figures - to depict the demeanor and the inner world of a person in a harmonic piece of visual art.
